Loft Conversion and House Renovation

We had a brief from the client to make space for a new bedroom in the roof, and to re-furnish the bathroom, three bedrooms, hallway stairs and landing area. The main priority was to put a bedroom in the roof space and obtain the required planning. A dormer roof structure was built with a large bedroom window, and a smaller landing window to the top of the stairs. A rubber roof covering was fitted to the flat roof on top of the dormer. We also replaced the old and damaged roof tiles to make it water tight from previous leaks. The newly created loft bedroom had sufficient floor space to fit two doublr beds. Our joiner built a bespoke wardrobe with with large sliding doors that had ample space to store clothing, shoes and accessories.

We then built a new stair case to the newly converted loft space from the first floor landing area bedroom which was then downsized. to a smaller boxed bedroom. The two other bedrooms were renovated and bespoke fitted wardrobes installed. The first floor bathroom was fully refurbished and replaced with a modern style showe, sink, vanity unit and toilet. The bathroomwas fully wall and floor tiled.

The staircase leading to the ground floor was replaced with a new handrail and square spindles. The work was completed start to finish in 3.5 weeks and met all planning guidelines, and within budget.
